I might have been a bit too ambitious with my goal -- but that is okay. It's a goal and I will keep going until it is a reality.

The numbers thus far~

Week One (01-04 October): 799 words
Week Two (05-11 October): 2659 words
Week Three (12-18 October): 1811 words
Week Four (19-25 October): 489 words

October's total: 5758 words

Clearly, my goal was too ambitious to keep up with and take care of life events -- my mother was hospitalised on the 20th of October, and writing time tanked. It's okay -- words were written and November is a new month.

October 1-15: wrote 15 out of 15 days, 6117 words so far. Rough month; two kitties are sick and I was denied my promotion. Getting my goal this month will take some willpower.

ETA: Just barely made it. Wrote 31 out of 31 days for 16,023 words. Hopefully I'll actually get nano next month.
